Yes, probably less likely, although my baby died at 8 weeks and I didn’t find out until 10 weeks.
So…you should feel more relieved, but wary…until about 13 weeks when the risk goes down considerably.
Congrats!

I read that to be true, but its a load of B.S
i HAVE HAD 2M/C IN THE LAST 6MTHS,
First at 7wks4days
2nd-11wks 5days
I went for u/s day before first m/c h/b fine 161bpm
I started bleeding 2days later and lost pregnancy @ 7wks 4days
Then 4mths later pregnant again, h/b excellent so dr said I started to bleed @11wks5days, did u/s baby died @ 9wks4days,
So that’s a load of B.S
Ive read but know its CRAP!!

Yes you saw the baby and there is a little less of a chance…but I know of women who get misscarigies after a Ultrasound that showed a healthy baby. If there is a problem with the baby and your body see’s that it won’t live your body could flush it out of your system and you will have a misscarige no matter what.
All you can do is eat healthy and take your prenatal vitamins!
I’m 8 weeks and still scared! I saw my baby last week which helped! but just try not to worry…normal pregnancy outweighs misscariges.

not necessairly. My good friend had a misscarriage about 5 weeks after hearing her babies heartbeat. Misscarriage can happen at any time throughout the pregnancy and the risk is high all through the first trimester. Good luck

Yes it is less likely but is still possible. Study shows that about 15 to 20 percent of all pregnancies end in miscarriage. Most of them occur in the first 13 weeks, or first trimester.
For women in their 20s and early 30s, the chance of miscarriage is about 15 percent. At 35 the chance of miscarrying rises to one in four, and at 40 the miscarriage rate is close to one in three.
Most early pregnancy losses are due to genetics and cannot be prevented. But losing a pregnancy doesn’t mean that anything is wrong with a woman’s health or that she can’t have more children. Ninety percent of women who have one miscarriage go on to have a healthy pregnancy. Despite the fact that recurrent miscarriages may increase the risk of future pregnancy losses, even women who have had three or more miscarriages in a row may have a good chance of carrying the next pregnancy to term. However, these recurrent miscarriages may be an indication of problems that require medical help.
Don’t worry though the percentage of giving birth is much much higher.. Congratulations!
